For over 30 years, Leeway has been Connecticut’s first and only dedicated skilled nursing center for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Today, we are more than a medical facility; we are a community of recovery, stability, and second chances.
During The Great Give 2026, your support helps us bridge the gap between medical intervention and true well-being. HIV/AIDS has transformed from a fatal diagnosis to a chronic one—and with your help, our residents aren't just surviving; they are thriving.
Our 2026 Goal: This year, we are raising funds to expand our Community Living Model, ensuring that when residents transition from our 30-bed nursing facility to independent housing, they have the "wraparound" case management they need to stay healthy and out of the hospital.
